ABOUT THE PROJECT

Mix N' Match is the new Market Square Public Art installation for 2016 by Dutch artist Allard van Hoorn. The artist is transforming Market Square into a giant interactive jukebox that visitors can operate. The artwork reaches out to users of Market Square, both near and far, to create a new experience of the public space. Van Hoorn collaborated with seven different community groups to record 8 musical tracks for this work. Join us as we learn about van Hoorn's impetus for this project and process in creating Mix N' Match.
